A browser-based tool designed to transform architectural BIM data into optimized GIS features without server-side processing.
Open the Appifc2gis Pro solves the gap between high-detail architectural models and lightweight geographic information systems. It processes IFC files locally to extract only what is necessary for urban mapping and spatial analysis.
One-click logic designed for immediate GIS deployment. Includes envelope detection, opening simplification, and optimized attribute mapping.
Note: This is a paid service per export.
Full control over IFC class selection and storey filtering. Intended for users who require specific sub-sets of the model without automated optimization.
Note: Shapefile (SHP) export is a paid service.
ifc2gis Pro operates on a pay-per-export model. You only pay for the automated, GIS-optimized processing of a specific file. Manual IFC class selection and parsing remain free to use for all users (only Shapefile export requires payment).
| IFC File Size | Cost (USD) | Typical Project |
|---|---|---|
| Small (< 25 MB) | $10 | Residential models, small interiors, or testing. |
| Medium (25 β 100 MB) | $30 | Commercial floors, standard office units. |
| Large (100 β 300 MB) | $60 | Complex commercial buildings or mixed-use blocks. |
| Enterprise (> 300 MB) | $120 | Hospitals, airports, or large-scale infrastructure. |
* Includes unlimited format re-exports for the same file within the same browser session.
Architecture: ifc2gis Pro utilizes WebAssembly (WASM) to run C++ and JavaScript geometry kernels directly in your browser. Sensitive architectural IP remains in your system RAM and is never stored or viewed by our platform.
Optimization: This tool generates GIS-optimized geometry. It is not intended for BIM round-tripping or engineering-grade structural analysis. It is designed to create visually accurate, lightweight features for geographic contexts.
System Requirements: Optimized for Desktop Chrome or Edge. A minimum of 8GB RAM is recommended for files exceeding 100MB.
